Safe Youth Space – Tool for Empowerment: Online Kick-off Meeting
At the end of November, partners of the international project “Safe Youth Space – Tool for Empowerment” met online for the official kick-off meeting, marking the start of their cooperation.
The project is implemented by three partner organizations: Akwedukt Association (Poland) as the lead partner, United Societies of Balkans (Greece), and Vedogiovane Società Cooperativa Sociale (Italy). With a total budget of €250,000, the initiative focuses on strengthening youth work and creating supportive environments where young people can develop skills, confidence, and a sense of agency.
During the online meeting, partners had the opportunity to introduce their organizations, present their experience in youth work, and discuss the overall goals and structure of the project. The session also served as a space to clarify roles, outline the timeline of activities, and align expectations for the upcoming stages of the cooperation.
“Safe Youth Space – Tool for Empowerment” aims to explore and develop new approaches in youth work, particularly through grassroots initiatives, outdoor education, entrepreneurship, and social and emotional learning (SEL). Throughout the project, partners will collaborate on training activities, study visits, and local initiatives designed to strengthen youth participation and empowerment in their communities.
The kick-off meeting was an important first step that allowed partners to establish a common vision, coordinate their work, and prepare for the implementation phase of the project.
